Pelvic floor training

Two distinct haptic cues on your wrist guide the contract–relax cycle. The flower animation is a visual aid; the haptics set the rhythm.

  1. Open pelvic floor training.

Quick Start immediately begins a 5-second preparation period, without countdown numbers or preparation haptics.

  2. Leave the controls alone.

Training starts automatically after 5 seconds. Tap “Start” at any time to skip the wait.

  3. To change repetitions for this session, turn the Crown or drag vertically.

The first adjustment cancels automatic start for this visit. The ring freezes and fades. Set your repetitions, then tap “Start.” This change applies only to this session and does not update the iPhone default.

Sequence

The final repetition includes a full relaxation phase

  1. Contract
  2. →
  3. Relax
  4. →
  5. Next repetition

Every repetition contains both contraction and relaxation. Even the last repetition completes the entire relaxation interval before the completion cue plays. The ring and petals confirm the current state without changing the haptic rhythm.

Haptic cues

Different rhythms distinguish training states

When Approximate feel Meaning
Entering contraction One distinct start cue Begin contracting now.
Entering relaxation A transition cue with a different rhythm Relax now.
End of the session A more distinctive completion cue The final relaxation has ended and the session is complete.

Quick Start, pause, resume, and early exit add no extra haptics, so control feedback is not mistaken for a training cue.

Session controls

Pausing preserves your exact position

Pause freezes the current repetition, phase, and exact remaining time. Resuming does not replay haptics that already occurred. Exiting early returns to the Watch home screen without a completion cue.

“Another set” reuses the previous settings and repetition count and returns to Quick Start. “End” returns home. Pelvic floor training currently has no Double Tap action.
